If you are looking for days out in Cheshire, then Abbeywood Gardens has lots to offer. Families can explore acre upon acre of woodland and enjoy exploring the six acres of informal and formal Gardens which are incredibly well maintained. Families with small children may wish to let them run off and burn off some energy on the childrens outdoor play area, which at the time of our visit, consisted of a swing, large slide/climbing frame and a trampoline. After expelling all that energy, it may be time for a little rest so why not head to the tranquil lakes within the gardens to relax. There are also some animals to see including chickens, ducks, horses, cows and pigs. Finally, finish off your trip with some fine food in the Garden Café.
Abbeywood Gardens may be smaller than other gardens within Cheshire but we are sure you will agree, they offer a great space to stretch those legs in such a beautiful setting. Abbeywood are also located incredibly close to other attractions such as Delamere Forest if you wished to extend your day out.
