Located in north Shropshire, just on the border between Cheshire and Wales, this beautiful lake is a must for families wanting to spend a little time outdoors. Take a family walk around the lake, walk in the surrounding countryside, play on the play area, find the hidden treehouse and swing, or visit the lakeside cafe if you fancy a spot of breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. Food in the cafe is homemade and produce is sourced from Shropshire and Cheshire suppliers.
New for 2019 is the Maize maze, a fun and interactive maize for little explorers to investigate. Olly the owl will be sitting on his perch looking up at the moon and the stars. You will need to find your way through the maze to the star and to do this, you will need to find all of the hidden bird boxes along the way.
Activities on the lake include swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding (own equipment needed).
