Bellevue Park

Bellevue Park

Wrexham - Day out

Description

Located not too far from Wrexham’s town centre, Bellevue Park is an Edwardian style park with a large number of mature trees, ornamental shrub beds, landscaped rockery, and bandstand. An elevated knoll, adjacent to the basket ball court, offers splendid views over Wrexham, the Parish Church and the surrounding hills. There is also a sensory garden at the entrance to the Park overlooked by the imposing statue of Queen Victoria. The kids will also enjoy seeing an abundance of squirrels running around.

The paths are ideal for pram and wheelchair users, ensuring that each area of the park is accessible. There’s also plenty of spots to have a picnic and the Bellevue Park is dog friendly though dogs are nor permitted inside the play areas.

The play areas are suitable for both toddlers and junior children with a rubberised surface underneath the play apparatus. There is also a full sized football pitch which is available for use at all times except for when an organised match is paying. If you fancy teaching the kids how to play tennis or basketball instead, there are courts available for this.
