Blaze Farm is an award winning farm set on the edge of the Peak District in Wildboarclough. Here families can enjoy Blaze Farm’s famous Hilly Billy Ice Cream, made on the farm using milk from their own herd. You can also enjoy a selection of home made cakes and sweet treats in the tea room.
In terms of activities, children can get involved in one of the nature trails where they can admire the views of the meadows and woodland and hunt for wildlife. Other activities include sheep-sheering in summer and watching the lambing in the Spring. Children can also paint-a-pot in the Pottery sheep ceramic studio.
The Farm is free to enter and is a great place to see some small animals like ducks and chickens.
Additional information: *No picnics, a small compromise for free entry. *The first half of the basic nature trail is wheelchair and pram accessible. *All dogs must be on the lead. No dogs allowed in the nature trails during April.
