A family day out in Bury Manchester will take visitors back in time to explore the industrial heritage of the North West.
Enjoy some interactive exhibits, original artefacts and admire the stunning restored vehicles. Learn all about the lives and jobs of the people who lived in the early 20th Century, discover a horse drawn tram that once was a chip shop, and take a little look into the smallest museum within a museum in the UK.
During school holidays there are regular children’s craft workshops for a small fee. Entry in to the museum itself is free and donations are gratefully received. The Museum is housed in the Castlecroft Goods Warehouse which is just across the road from Bury Bolton Street Station.
