Located in an attractive historic park with 9 hectares of Green Flag awarded grounds, Castle Park House and Gardens offers a fantastic morning or afternoon out.
The park consists of landscaped gardens and woodland area, bowling green, tennis courts and of course a children’s playground. The children’s play area is well thought out, comprising of two large sandy areas with facilities such as a ‘sunken wooden pirate ship’ emerging from the sand to encourage imaginative play, climbing frames, small zip wire, slides, swings and ropes. The sand also provides opportunity for more imaginative play if families pack up the buckets, spades, and other sand toys.
Fancy a spot of lunch? Enjoy a picnic in the grounds, or head to the café in the Arts centre for some tasty treats.
