What could be a better way to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine than a morning or afternoon at Christleton Duck Pond? Our little tike lets out squeals of excitement at the mere mention of this pond as she knows that upon arrival at the lake, she will literally be surrounded by an unbelievable number of her feathered friends, going absolutely quackers in anticipation for her tasty treats! There are a couple of benches by the pond, providing a fabulous spot for a picnic…. just make sure the ducks don’t help themselves!
Ducks fed and off we go to burn off some energy at the amazing play park. The equipment offers something for all ages with climbing apparatus, tunnels, slide, swings, boppers, climbing rocks and even a large sand pit. There’s also a cycle track and a large field nearby to enjoy a family game of football, rounders, or whatever takes your fancy.
Christleton duck pond and King George playing fields is a fantastic little place to burn off some energy for an hour or so. The park is gated and there’s a couple of benches nearby.
Additional information: Small car park is free to park. Guidelines are dotted around the site regarding foods deemed safe for the ducks.
