Farmer Ted’s Adventure Farm And Shaun The Sheep Adventure

Description

Farmer Ted’s Adventure Farm offers a great family day out on the Merseyside/Lancashire border regardless of the weather.

There’s pony grooming, meeting the ferrets or even a meet and greet with the bugs and reptiles. During the Spring and Summer months, families can also enjoy Birds of Prey demonstrations. Many of the animals can be observed indoors where there is shelter from the rain. There is also an indoor play area with slides, climbing frames and more.

If the weather is more pleasing, children can run around and experience the outdoors in the large outdoor play area, zip wire, and fine-tune their racing driver skills on the large pedal Go-Kart circuit.

Farmers Ted’s Adventure Farm has teamed up with Aardman, the award-winning creators of Shaun the Sheep, to bring you Shaun The Sheep Adventure, perfect for a family day out near Liverpool where you can find Shaun and his friends e.g. Bitzer who will present daily shows, including “meet and greets” with photo opportunities.

Love water play? Then why not have a splashing time with a visit to Hog Splash? Children will try to recycle as much water as they can from the three cheeky pigs who are squirting water all over their pigsty.

Head to Mossy Bottom Crafts and show off your artistic talents whilst helping to decorate the village for the fete. As well as making face masks, children can enjoy helping to decorate the yurt and create their own characters from Shaun the Sheep.

Bitzer’s Kinetic Club House is a great place to burn off some energy as children will learn all about renewable energy resources, as children have to pedal, push and turn a number of devices in order to generate enough energy to wake up Shaun the Sheep’s sleepy friend Shirley.

Other attractions include the jumping pillows free tractor rides, toboggan rides, seasonal maize maze and wooden maze in summer, and safe archery. As you can see, some of these activities will even be enjoyed by teenagers making a visit here a great choice when looking for things to do with kids in Lancashire.
