Grosvenor Museum

The Grosvenor Museum houses collections exploring the history of Chester, its art and silver heritage, and its natural history.

Find out about life during the Roman military occupation and visit the Period House, with rooms from the 17th century to the 1920s. The museum also has a natural history collection, boasting a rich collection of fossils, geological samples and taxidermy that tell the story of Cheshire and life on Earth.

Additional information: Some areas but not all are accessible for pram and wheelchair users. Small café and gift shop on site. Free though the museum suggests a donation of £3 per person.
