Haddon Hall

Haddon Hall is set in the heart of the beautiful peak district National Park. Sections of the house were built as early as the 12th century and Haddon Halls impressive beauty and atmosphere means its a popular filming location, featuring in at least three versions of Jane Eyre, The Other Boleyn Girl and Pride and Prejudice.

Children will enjoy exploring Haddons enchanting grounds, with the house as an impressive backdrop. Let their imaginations run wild as they soak in the wonderful atmosphere exuded by the medieval house. There is also an annual childrens music event with garden games, archery, dressing up, story telling and more!

Haddon Hall has avoided fire, warfare, family misfortune and changing fashions. Haddon provides a unique view of early English life and history, and a good opportunity for an educational day out with the kids in Derbyshire.
