For five months or so during summer and early autumn you can pick your own fruits from the orchards. There are rows of gooseberries, redcurrants and blackcurrants. Later on, you will find English apples, pears and plums, both for eating and cooking, and of course the famous Hawarden Estate Pumpkins.
There is also a cafe on site where all meat, produce and dairy goods are sourced locally in a sustainable way to help support local community businesses. The cafe serves a selection of mouth watering meals for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Kids meals are designed with kids tastes in mind but made much healthier e.g. the chicken goujons are made fresh.
