King Arthur’s Labyrinth offers a day out with kids in North Wales full of mystery and legend. Located deep underground, beneath the mountains of Southern Snowdonia in Corris where Mid Wales meets North Wales, families can embark on a world of adventure. Embark on a boat journey, through the magical veil of an underground waterfall into a mythical world filled with dragons, giants, fierce battles and the legendary King Arthur. Ancient legends from Wales unfold as you’re guided through the Labyrinth by a hooded Dark Age Boatman.
A visit here is ideal when looking for things to do with kids on a rainy day, and its also the perfect option when trying to get some respite from the hot weather….. what better way to cool off than by heading deep underground in a cave?
Other things to see or do here include:
1. A visit to the Stone circle. Enter an enchanted world and explore the snaking paths of a maze containing 8 hidden mythical stories and a range of interesting characters. If you use your heads and solve the clues, you will win yourself a medal as a reward for your hard work.
2. Corris Mine Explorers provide a unique opportunity to travel back in time to the forgotten world of a slate miner. Venture into the cave and experience the working conditions as your guide shares a wealth of stories. A visit here forms the perfect behind the scenes tour to your labyrinth adventure. It is recommended to pre book this activity.
3. Visit the childrens play area located next to the cafe. There’s a small climbing area, slide and swings.
*Although the activity is not designed with babies and toddlers in mind, they can be taken down if certain conditions are adhered to.
*Not all areas are suitable for wheelchair users. Prams are not permitted in the labyrinth.
