The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra was founded back in 1840 by a group of music lovers and each season the hall provides a vast array of entertainment by offering approximately 80 concerts for adults and/or families to enjoy.
At the heart of Liverpool’s cultural life, this grade II listed hall hosts the world’s finest chamber ensembles and soloists in the incredible setting of St Georges Hall Concert Room. Liverpool Philharmonic Hall attracts world class artists with performances ranging from classical, contemporary, rock, pop, folk, roots, and jazz to comedy, film and more. Family concerts are held regularly and if children wish, they can even dress up to make the experience even more memorable.
The Halls award winning learning programme offers a range of inspirational lifelong learning opportunities to enjoy and take part in live music making of the highest standard.
Additional information: *Only food and drink (with the exception of bottled water) can be consumed on the premises. *Booster seats are not provided but families are welcome to bring their own. *Family concerts tend to be suitable for children aged 4 plus but there is no age limit. *Fancy dress is encouraged if attending a family concert but is optional.
