Pili Palas offers a great family day out in North Wales regardless of the weather.
Families can enjoy a trip to see the LIVE tropical butterflies, flying freely overhead. Visit the birdhouse to see some parrots, ducks and other feathered friends. Perhaps reptiles are more your thing? If so, head off to see the resident snakes and lizards. You can even get up close to these reptiles in one of the “Meet our Animals” sessions which run on select days. Head off to the ‘bug zone’ where you will see lots of creepy-crawlies including hissing cockroaches, locusts, giant snails and much more. How about a trip to the tropical lair where the tarantulas, scorpions and ants live.
Young children will enjoy observing the cheeky meerkats and a visit to the farm barn where they can see donkeys, goats, pigs, sheep, rabbits and guinea pigs. There are plenty of hand wash stations available if youngsters would like to stroke any of the animals.
Explore the nature trail and meet some friendly alpacas along the way. After all that exploring, perhaps its time for you to play? There are several options available for families. Toddlers can let off steam in the indoor soft play area and children can also tackle the adventure playground with its zip-wire, slides, and wooden castle climbing apparatus. Children also have the option of riding on one of the peddle cars.
The cafe on site serves a selection of hot and cold meals and if you head into the conservatory, you are in for a real treat as you can dine overlooking the meerkat enclosure.
As you can see Pili Palas Nature World offers something for everyone, making it a good option when looking for things to do with kids in North Wales.
