Are you brave enough to step inside the most haunted house in Wales?
Plas Teg is a privately owned Jacobean country house in North Wales, offering house and garden tours. Built in 1610 by Sir John Trevor, the house experienced many years of neglect. Fortunately, this impressive structure was rescued and restored in 1986 and was given a new lease of life. Visitors are now given the opportunity to truly step back in time, as Plas Teg epitomises the ideal of an early-Stuart Country House.
Plas Teg is arguably the most haunted house in Wales. Adults can attend one of Plas Teg’s paranormal nights where you may be fortunate to witness tables rock and tip, objects moving, lights flickering, unexplained sound and temperature changes and varying moods of visitors.
Additional information: *Guided tours are only available on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays. Private guided tours can be pre-arranged on most days with the exception of Sunday. Plas Teg is a residential property. Therefore, ad-hoc drop-ins are not encouraged. *The tour will appeal to older children who may be more interested in the history of the house and its interior design. *No booking required provided there are no more than ten people making up a party. *This is a listed building so unfortunately there are no facilities for wheelchairs or prams.
