The station, museum and toilets are open on every day that trains are operating, with good facilities for disabled visitors including coaches with spaces for wheelchairs inside or open coaches depending on weather.
The railway is located at Marine Lake which offers the perfect spot for crabbing and nets, buckers, lines, and bait are available from the ticket office. Visitors will also only be a short walk from the new iconic pedestrian bridge Pont y Ddraig and so you can go off and explore the bridge, harbour and sand dunes after visiting Rhyl miniature railway.
