Rixton Nature Reserve was once a brick quarry but now is a nature reserve offering both woodland and meadow habitats to enjoy across 80 acres of land.
The easy to follow and well maintained paths will make walking a breeze with children young and old, taking you past ponds, the pits, through the woodland and wildflower meadows. Near to the ponds there are information boards and viewing platforms, informing visitors of the wildlife they may be fortunate to observe on their travels.
There are a range of walks on offer on this former clay extraction site, and details of these walks can be provided at the visitor centre.
