Hop all aboard and enjoy a ride on Royden Parks Miniature Railway. The Miniature Railway has a range of locomotives that operate on the raised track are usually fine scale models of full size engines. They are generally coal fired, producing steam just like the real thing. The train relies on donations from the public and operates most Sundays and Summer Bank Holidays.

With lots of open space, families can keep the costs down and enjoy a home made picnic as the kids have a little run around or play games in the fields. You can even take the pooch with you and enjoy a day out as a full family.

Royden park offers fantastic access to Thurstaston common and viewpoints over the Dee towards Wales.
