Ruby’s Fund is a charity providing social, sensory, educational and recreational services for children, young people, their families and carers at our Sensory Centre. Ruby’s Fund provides an inclusive and accessible sensory centre supporting and nurturing children to maximise their full potential.
*Activity Hall and Social Café – This space has soft play and an abundance of toys and books. We have a lovely cafe which offers hot and cold refreshments.
*Sensory Room – The sensory room at Ruby’s Fund is a fantastic resource. It’s a calming and non-threatening environment which has many features including a large bubble tube, ball pool, infinity panel, fibre optics and projector lighting.
*Siblings room – The room has many features including two pool tables, air hockey, table football, giant games, soft play and a play station. During the week the room is the venue for our sessions such as Lego Club, Little Builders and The Yoga Project.
*Sensory Garden – We have a mud kitchen area, pallet sofa seating, play house, cars and various tour to play with. We enjoy water play and are awaiting a delivery of the summerhouse, sand table, wall mounted blackboard and wheelchair accessible picnic table this summer. The garden is open during the warmer months during open play.
*SEND sessions – A multitude of SEND sessions run weekly.
*Children’s clubs and classes – A multitude of SEND sessions run weekly.
Additional information – We have a mobile hoist and a large p-pod chair should you need it.
