Tegg’s Nose Country Park is an ideal place to visit with the family. Tegg’s Nose Country Park Rock dominates the landscape, with a range of old quarries dotted throughout. Enjoy a family stroll, whilst you imagine a time once passed where men worked the land, hammering and chiselling away at the rock in all weathers.
Why not put your skills to the test with some orienteering? The starter course is short and relatively simple to follow. The views as you explore the area are exquisite over the Cheshire Plain and you may even be fortunate enough to see the Welsh hills and even some of Liverpools Cathedrals!
Alternatively, enjoy Tegg’s Nose Rocks Trail, a circular walk around ‘ Nose summit and quarries approximately 2 miles long. Along the way learn some amazing geological facts to explore how the landscape was formed and changed over the years.
The Tegg’s Nose Armchair Walks are ideal for adults and children that have difficulty exploring but can be enjoyed by all. Cheshire East Countryside Rangers will describe Tegg’s Nose Country Park, its views, geology and wildlife, whilst you relax in a lovely, comfortable chair.
Fancy a bite to eat? The tea room is family run and overlooks the Cheshire Plain. Serving a range of teas and coffees along with light lunches and cakes, it makes the ideal stop off. Whats more is that the café is dog friendly.
