Adjacent to the Welsh coast path, Towyn is a bustling town with fine, sandy beaches, perfect for a sandcastle competition and a paddle. Towyn Beach runs from the blue bridge in Rhyl all the way up to Colwyn Bay, and consists of a mixture of sand, pebbles and shingle.
Fancy a little free entertainment? If so, head to Knightley’s leisure fun park and enjoy a magic show, circus skills school, fun fair, cabaret club, costume characters, amusements, crazy golf and much more including cafes and restaurants.
Alternatively, head to Tir Prince raceway for the thrill of American style harness racing (select dates), or enjoy Tir Prince Fun Park, an amusement park with roller-coaster, log flumes, dodgems, go-Karts, games and arcades. There’s something for all ages, including a Disney train, toy set, paddleboats and bungee tramps for younger members of the crew.
