Half Term Spy Club Activities
Looking for something exciting to do over half term? Visit the secret headquarters and check out our Spy Club…..
Join us at Western Approaches HQ to become a secret WW2 spy in our hidden underground bunker.
You will be given instructions from the Commander in Chief and all the tools you need in a gas mask bag, in order to crack the clues in our Cipher Trial.
You can master Morse Code, write secret messages with a special spy pen and learn how secret ink was made during WW2 (Although grown ups may not like it!)
All spy activities are free, normal admission applies and under 5’s are free. Tickets can be bought online or bought on the day.
A normal tour takes approx. 1 hour 15 mins, but there is also the change to have a free hot drink or juice at the end of the tour, where children can play in a recreated war torn street scene, with shops, dressing up, hot scotch, traditional games to play and a real unexploded bomb.
One visit also entitles you to a free return. Great day out for all generations, where you can have fun but also learn about life in Liverpool during the war and the work which would have been done in the huge bunker under the streets of Liverpool.
Find us on Rumford St, behind the Town Hall – part of Exchange Flags – Parking is available directly opposite in the NCP car park
