The Wilmslow Community Show is the largest event in the town, supported by organisations, charities and businesses from both the town and wider area.
With a Showground full of attractions, we believe there is truly something for everyone. A Dog Show and Competitions for amateur florists, gardeners, crafters and bakers. Craft and Trade Stalls, Charities and Community group stands and lots more.
A fun fair, games and sideshows for children of all ages. Lots of animals to see- and donkeys to ride. Best of all, thanks to Wilmslow Town Council, some of the activities are free once you are in the Showground. The very warm weather last year meant that we were forced to cancel the Dog Show on the grounds of animal welfare; this year we have ordered warm but not blistering sun and the very popular Dog Show will be back (with the ring kindly sponsored by Wilmslow Dog Grooming Boutique & Spa!
2019 sees the 107th annual show and this year, as well as some old favourites we welcome a number of new acts and stands. In the main arena, which this year is kindly sponsored by Taylor Wimpey, we are looking forward to both a motor bike display and a BMX display- as well as the more traditional (and very funny) Dog and Duck herding making a welcome return.
When you have walked and played enough, sit back with you favourite refreshment (tea, soft drinks and beer are all available) and enjoy the full programme of activities all afternoon in the main arena, the band stand and the dog arena.
£14 for a family ticket. Kids under 5 go free. Kids 5 to 18 cost £3, and adults £7
