After a complete refurbishment in 2016, Darwin’s Townhouse offers a fantastic Bed and Breakfast experience for families.
Initially built in the late 18th Century, this Grade II Georgian Townhouse now consists of twenty boutique bedrooms, all decorated with a tasteful Darwinian theme running throughout.

Darwin’s townhouse is in a quiet backwater of the town, perfectly located to explore all of the sights Shrewsbury has to offer, whether that’s Shrewsbury’s black and white Tudor buildings, its higgledy piggildy streets, the eclectic mix of independent shops and restaurants, or simply a gentle family stroll along the river.

Darwin’s townhouse provides a friendly home away from home. You can even bring canine family members as the townhouse also offers garden suite rooms where pets are more than welcome. All guests can enjoy a well deserved rest from exploring the sights in the peaceful garden.
