*Sewer Slime Making, Chester: A Life Story

Description: Techniquest the Science & Discovery centre from Wrexham will be joining Chester: A Life Story and helping children to make their own slime. Learn the science behind slime making and all about the buildings and sewers of Chester and how they have helped to shape the city.

* Become a Fairy for the Day, Plumleys Plant & Garden Centre

Description: This very special event invites your little ones to join in on a magical day of fun, crafts and treats at Plumley’s Garden Centre and Cafe with artist and host, Sophie Elizabeth.

Children will be provided with materials to design their own fairy wings and wreath crown as well as being able to join in on a magica FAIRY hunt around the garden centre!

*Bee Trail At Biddulph Grange Garden

Description: Can you find the bees hidden around the garden?
Pick up your map and search for the hidden bees around the garden. When you find one, put your sticker on your map.

*The Deep: A World Premier Brick Exhibition

Description: The Deep – made with LEGO® bricks. Bright Bricks have grown to become the world’s premier independent toy brick building firm. In The Deep, come face-to-face with a 1.75 metre yellow tuna fish – made of 13,000 bricks; a fearsome Mako Shark created with 80,000 bricks and a massive giant squid containing 120,000 bricks which is 2.7 metres tall.

Description: For a great day out with kids in Knutsford, Cheshire, head to the family day at the Country fair. There’s plenty for the family to see and do including dog events, falconry displays, have-a-go angling, horse boarding, historical re-enactment, live music, cooking demonstrations and a range of children’s activities. Don’t miss the 15th English Open Chainsaw Carving Competition!

*Cheshire Classic Car And Motorcycle Show, Capesthorne Hall

Description: This popular August Bank Holiday event regularly attracts 400-500 display vehicles. In addition to an eclectic display of vintage, classic and modern classic vehicles the courtyard directly outside Capesthorne Hall will be filled with a stunning display of vehicles courtesy of the Cheshire Mercedes-Benz Owners Club.
